Our mission is to inspire curiosity and help our children connect with the natural world. We introduce children to the intricate and fragile natural connections that make up the Tuscawilla Preserve, historic Micanopy's own "Mini Paynes Prairie."

Our curricula have been developed to correspond with seasonal changes. For example, October focuses on leaves, and January focuses on birds and migration. The programs immerse participants in the outdoors, so they may experience the natural and changing world of this unique Florida ecosystem first hand.

While playing games, singing, and engaging in creative activities, the students learn to listen to their surroundings, look closer and deeper, and grasp the inner workings of a specific habitat, while building communication and problem-solving skills.
