ACT plans to host a book discussion in February, May, August, and November of 2026 so stay tuned for more opportunities to discuss environmental texts with us!
Laurel Nesbit
Raised in Alachua County, Florida, Laurel has always been invested in building community and connection. She received her M.Ed. and Ed.S degrees in Mental Health Counseling from UF in 2015 and her Ph.D. in 2022. She worked in crisis and suicide prevention before opening her private psychotherapy practice in 2019, where she works with adults experiencing a variety of concerns. She is a Certified Enneagram Teacher through the Enneagram School of Awakening, a Qualified Supervisor for Registered Mental Health Counseling Interns in Florida, and an Adjunct Professor in the Counselor Education department at the University of Florida.
