Daniel Catizone

USGS Biologist
Dan received his bachelor's in Wildlife Conservation Biology from the University of Rhode Island and master's in Interdisciplinary Ecology from the University of Florida. Dan is currently a USGS Biologist studying sea turtles and diamondback terrapins the Florida Panhandle

Janice Becker

Volunteer Coordinator for Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Office of Resilience and Coastal Protection at the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve.

Before she joined the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve in 2014, Janice gained her expertise through her experiences working at the Georgia Aquarium Dolphin Research Center, the Gulf Specimen Marine Lab, FWC Marine Turtle Program and as a Sea Turtle Lighting Specialist for the University of Florida IFAS.
